P-Square, Tiwa, others excite fans in Ghana
An afrobeats festival, ‘Afro Nation’, held at the Black Star Square, Ghana, during the week.
The two-day event witnessed performances by several artistes, including Ghanaian singer, Gyakie, who rendered some of her hit songs such as, ‘Forever’. Idoamebo
A British-Congolese comedian, presenter and actor, Eddi Kadi; and United Kingdom-based show promoter and broadcaster, Adesope Olajide, aka Shopsy Doo, were also on hand to give fans a good time.
Other performers on the first day of the event include another Ghanaian artiste, Kuami Eugene; South African dancer and singer, Kamo Mphela; and Nigerian artistes—Ckay, Oxlade, Tiwa Savage, and P-Square.
While on stage, Ckay performed songs including ‘DTF’, ‘Felony’, and ‘Love Nwantiti’.
On his part, Oxlade entertained guests with tracks such as ‘Kolo’, ‘Bad Boy’ and ‘Ku Lo Sa’.
Self-acclaimed ‘number one African bad girl’, Savage dished out songs such as ‘Ma lo’, ‘Koroba’ and ‘Somebody’s Son’.
However, some of the most spectacular performances of the event were that of pop duo and brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye of P-Square; and American rapper, Meek Mill.
P-Square took guests on a sonic excursion with songs such as ‘Busy
Body’, ‘Forever’, ‘Roll It’, ‘E No Easy’, ‘Personally’, ‘Onyinye’, ‘Bank Alert’, ‘Chop my Money’ and ‘Jaiye Ori Mi’.
