The Centra Bank Of Nigeria (CBN) Naira Redesign Policy with Revised Cash Withdrawer Limits detailed below takes effect on Monday January 9th, 2023. Idoamebo reports.
The maximum weekly limit for cash withdrawer across all channels by individuals and corprate organization shall be N500,000.00 and N5,000,000.00 respectively.
In compelling circumstances where cash withdrawal abovethe limits is required for legitmaye purpose, such requests shall be subject to a processing fee of 3% and 5% for individuals and corporate organizations, respectively.
Third party cheques above N100,000.00 shall not be eligible for payment over the counter, while the extant limit of N10,000,000.00 on clearing cheques still subsist.
